Update on the building!
Well it is back to the drawing board for a building. The building we thought that we had has not worked out. It is going to a game room. But one thing about it, we are not defeated because God will make away to find another building and I believe that it will be a greater blessing. I believe when God closes one door that he has another one open to walk into. So I am doing as Isa. 40: verse 31 says But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as an eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. So while I am looking, I am waiting for the Lord to direct my footsteps. Not that I wasn’t doing this before but I want to be sure that were we end up; is in the will of the Lord. If anyone in Henderson Tn knows of a building that would hold up to 200 people. Would you please let me know. No, we do not have 200 starting out but I know that God is going to cause us to grow quickly and strong in him in his word.
The pews and the folding chairs that we have been bless to get, which we are still paying on. The building we get needs to be able to hold everything that we have which is pulpit,two pulpit chairs,organ and bench, 11 -10 ft pews, and 2 -9ft pews which is a total of 13 pews,50 folding chairs. With the pews and the chairs we should be able to seat 175 to 200 people.
Yes, I have a vision to work for the Lord and to reach as many people as possible. I want to have more then just a church building. I want to have food drives to help the families that are barely feeding their families. To feed the homeless and to clothe the ones that need clothing. To reach out to the youth of our communities and to reach out in the jails in the hospitals and nursing homes. I want to see all that we can reach with the love of Jesus be reached and touched by the Spirit of God. I truly want to see a people helped.
I want to ask all the prayer warriors out there to pray with me and touch the throne of heaven that this work of God will move forward. Until next time God bless and keep you in his love!
